The events celebrated three years of Chefs Academy by cooking and demonstrating recipes from the Culinary Concepts.
The two events were full of live demonstrations, hands-on cooking, expert speakers and networking. They provided NHS chefs and culinary members with the opportunity to experiment with products from NHS frameworks, try recipes from a range of culinary concepts and learn invaluable skills to take back to their own kitchens and trusts.
An attendee from Stratford-upon-Avon said: “Lots of new information about the NHS Food strategy and nutrition. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and being able to interact with other trusts and share our experiences.”
An NHS Supply Chain spokesperson added: “NHS Supply Chain: Food culinary and dietetics team would like to thank each and every one of you who have taken part in any of the Chefs Academy events over the past year, your support and enthusiasm have been a key ingredient to the success of the academy.
“The team are delighted to be continuing with the Chefs Academy events in 2024. For further information on our Chefs Academies or Culinary Concepts, please get in touch with your regional food account manager.”
