Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Plc announced that Peter Papadimitropoulos, Group Chief Executive has left the company by mutual consent with immediate effect. The search to appoint a new Chief Executive is underway and will be led by the Nominations Committee. In the meantime, Wong Hong Ren, an Executive Director of M&C, will act as Interim Group Chief Executive.
Recycling bins introduced in Lancashire Drink cartons can now be recycled at dedicated recycling banks. The black bins will be based at four recycling centres and will handle paper-based cartons for milk, juice, sauces and other liquid foods. As a result of the recycling they will be turned into high-strength paper bags, envelopes and plasterboard liner.
