Abstract
CH&Co - the privately owned corporate and commercial caterer – has unveiled that Richard Franks is joining high street café group Apostrophe as managing director.

Following the successful handover to the new management team, Apostrophe’s CEO, Amir Chen, will now be departing from the business. CH&Co had initially entered into joint venture with Apostrophe in January 2012, before buying the business outright from Amir Chen and the founding shareholders earlier this year.

Franks previously worked at EAT during a period of rapid business growth and was most recently at the Harris & Hoole coffee chain that has also enjoyed recent rapid expansion and now operates from more than 40 outlets across South East England.

CH&Co sees his appointment as the next step in capitalising on the opportunities presented in premium speciality coffee across a range of channels – including both the business & industry and commercial businesses.

“Now is a great time for Apostrophe to make its next leap forward and we are delighted to have attracted someone of Richard’s talent,” said Stuart Lawson, group CEO of CH&Co. “We also thank Amir, who committed to stay with Apostrophe to ensure a smooth transition of ownership, and with Richard’s arrival that time is now. Richard will make a hugely positive impact on the business.”
