NEC Birmingham foodservice show food industry January 2019
Abstract
The Foodservice Show, which organisers claim is the UK’s only event dedicated to the foodservice industry, is being launched in Birmingham in January 2019.

The event will take place from the 22nd - 23rd of January at the NEC (National Exhibition Centre) and will include industry insights and the opportunity to discover ingredients.

At the heart of the show will be a mini-wholesale market. The ‘Covered Market’ will boast up to 30 butchers, fishmongers, bakeries, dairy specialists and fresh produce suppliers. Head chefs, catering professionals and food and beverage managers are encouraged to visit the market, meet the traders and taste what the UK has to offer.

Alongside the market, over 220 exhibitors will showcase their products. Exhibitors will cover all key categories ranging from marinades to frozen foods.

Together with the exhibitors, the event will feature ‘Café Commerce’, the UK’s dedicated business event for the booming café market. This is the place to be for the hottest names in tea, coffee and equipment. Guest speakers will explain how to produce a consistent product and appeal to consumers.

Exhibitors can take advantage of the ‘HRC 200 Birmingham’, the show’s exclusive buyers’ club. This is the first event in the sector to bring together 200 of the most influential procurement professionals in the foodservice and hospitality markets, face-to-face with leading suppliers.

Portfolio director at Fresh Montgomery, the event’s organiser, Ross Carter said: “We all want to see the thriving foodservice market continue to innovate, excite and grow. We’re investing more than ever to ensure we have the right features and exhibitors that guarantee visitors leave the show with the relationships, insight and products they need to drive their business forward.”
