The show, which will take place on March 17-18 at Bournemouth’s International Centre, is bringing in a shorter and sharper seminar programme of 15-minute talks, alongside other key additions.
Richard Joslin, Managing Director of the Hotel & Catering Show, said: “We made some exciting changes when taking over the event two years ago, and were very pleased with the growth success of the 2013 and 2014 shows.
“Having received valuable feedback from exhibitors and visirors, we’ve now made further improvements to the show and introduced a number of exciting new features that will enhance the show experience for all. We truly believe that 2015 will be the biggest and best Hotel & Catering Show yet.”
Another new feature of the 2015 show, will be the addition of ‘Grazin’ Kitchen’. An area dedicated to manufacturers and distributors of cooking equipment, the working kitchen will feature live demos and delicious tastings, with suppliers and their development chefs creating the perfect ‘grazing’ area for visitors.
Tried and tested features will also make a return, such as the ‘Liquid’ tasting zone, with producers and wholesalers showcasing everything from speciality teas, coffees and soft drinks right through to beers and spirits. Mixologists and bartenders from across the region will be hosting live demonstrations and interactive workshops for visitors.
The ‘Artisan Producers Market’ will also make a return, highlighting the very best local and regional produce that the South and South West has to offer. The ‘Live Cooking Stage’ will also feature demonstrations from a host of leading chefs who will be on-hand to impart their knowledge, skills and experience.
The Hotel & Catering Show is the longest-running hospitality and food service event, with a history of over 50 years. This year’s event is organized by Evisstar Events.
