Abstract
A public health nutritionist from the UK’s leading food service provider joins a social enterprise and small business champion as new faces on the board of Sheffield’s Children’s Food Trust.

Meg Longworth leads the health and wellbeing strategy for Chartwells, the education division of Compass Group UK and Ireland. She is also part of an education working group, co-ordinated by Food Service Europe, which is looking to develop an EU school food standard.

Lisa Gagliani is chief executive of the Childhood Trust where she has helped to alleviate the impact of child poverty for around 60,000 young people in London, including funding breakfast clubs and holiday feeding schemes.

Linda Cregan, CEO of Children’s Food Trust, said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming Meg and Lisa to help us continue on our mission to get every child eating well.

“Their diverse experience and skills will be invaluable as we continue our focus on the most important issues for children’s nutrition: improving access to good food for children, wherever they’re eating; giving children and families the skills and knowledge to eat better; and getting greater commitment from industry to help change how children eat.”
