Abstract
With Afternoon Tea Week having just passed (14-18 August), online retailer buyagift.com has undertaken research to unveil which UK city drinks the most brew.
A long British tradition, 76% of the population still claim to drink it every day, with Yorkshire and Humberside declared the number one region of tea drinkers. According to the research, Wales followed closely behind in second place and were found to eat the most biscuits with their cuppa.
When asked who they would most like to share a cup of tea with, perhaps unsurprisingly the British public voted Prince Harry in first place, with Boris Johnson beating both David Beckham and Marry Berry - who each received 7% of the votes - compared to Borris’s 8%.
