National Railway Museum achieves bronze Food for Life
Abstract
The National Railway Museum and official catering partner Levy Restaurants UK in York has achieved a bronze Food For Life Catering Mark in recognition of the venue’s freshly prepared, healthy and sustainable meals served.

Rich Watts, senior Catering Mark manager at the Soil Association, said: “The dedication we have seen from the Levy team at the National Railway Museum in achieving the Catering Mark has been extremely impressive.

“It is fantastic to see a visitor attraction clearly backing the provision of freshly prepared and sustainably sourced meals as part of a day out for the family. We look forward to working with the team in the coming year to help shout about their achievements even more.”

Three catering concepts at the venue, the Countess of York, Dining Car Café and Mallard Café, all operated by Levy Restaurants UK, were recognised for their commitment to ethical, sustainable and fresh food.
