This seminar will explore how digital transformation is driving ‘innovation’ in healthcare and how care professionals are embracing technology to reshape the delivery and experience of residential care.
The day will begin with a welcome & introduction to Middleby UK by Phil Denness, sales & marketing director and an NACC update from national chair Sue Cawthray.
Rachael Venditti, business development manager at allmanhall will discuss how using digital technology can help reduce costs, improve menu planning and enhance customer experience.
Paul Slaughter, chief executive of Care Messenger, will then talk about bridging the digital divide for older people with a simple messaging and video chat solution that uses the one device they are most familiar with: the TV.
Attendees will then be able to view the ‘pop up’ exhibition and there will also be a breakout session titled ‘Innovation in the Kitchen’.
Dr. Henry, Yi LI, chair of Textile Science and Engineering at The University of Manchester will deliver the keynote speech on ‘Textile electronic bioengineering: towards Low-Cost Solutions for Remote Body Monitoring and Diagnosis’
