Winner of the National Chair’s Award went to Mark Taylor, director of Bloom Foodservice and chair of the NACC South East Region.
NACC Chair Sue Cawthray, making her last official act before stepping down from the role, praised Mark’s knowledge of the care sector, his enthusiasm, tireless support and friendship.
Also at the awards, which form a highlight of the NACC’s annual Training & Development Forum, the South East Region also collected the Region of the Year award for the group’s activity over the past 12 months.
And the Pam Rhodes Award, given for outstanding achievement within the care catering sector, went to Alison Smith, prescribing support consultant dietitian with NHS Herts Valley CCG.
