The event also incorporates the CaterCare Expo, which showcases the best products from suppliers to help catering operators deliver the best service they can. The training event is specially tailored for professionals providing catering and related services within the care sector.
Organisers call it ‘a dynamic and interactive event with clear objectives to inform, update and inspire delegates to instantly boost your business’s catering provision’.
This year the event has been reformatted into two days full of workshops, cookery demonstrations, expert speakers, planned meetings and an array of suppliers to the care catering sector – all aimed at keeping delegates engaged, energised and entertained.
Part of the event includes the crowning of this year’s NACC Care Chef of the Year, which aims to find the best chef working in the care sector. The competition has been celebrating the culinary talent across the care sector for 23 years and is open to all chefs and cooks working in care settings.
It recognises, showcases and celebrates their sector-specific knowledge, skills and flair. The national final takes place on Tuesday, October 3rd at West Nottingham College.
The Forum will also feature the presentation of the 2023 NACC Awards, which aim to recognise and celebrate excellence, innovation and outstanding contributions from establishments, individuals and teams within the care industry.
