The competition is open to kitchen-based staff involved in the daily preparation of pupils’ meals in schools across the UK whether from a local authority or contract-catered site, managed in-house, academy school or part of a Multi-Academy Trust. A series of seven regional heats start on 27 April including one at the MKN Development Kitchen (First Choice Cannock).
The national final will be held live at the LACA Main Event at Hilton Birmingham Metropole on 6 and 7 July, before the winner is announced at the LACA Awards dinner on 7 July.
