Abstract
School caterer Rosalyn Webster from St Peter’s Catholic School in Solihull has won the top prize in Pritchitts’ ‘magic number’ competition.
Pritchitts launched the promotion in May 2011, offering caterers the chance to win prizes throughout the year on a weekly and monthly basis by visiting the 'magic number' website and entering the unique pack code found on all Pritchitts products.
Webster found her 'magic number' on a catering pack of Viva milk and came top in the grand prize draw to win an all expenses paid, four night gourmet trip for two to Dublin, which will include dinner in a Michelin starred restaurant and a tour of the legendary Guinness Storehouse, culminating in a sample of Ireland's legendary Craic, with a traditional Irish music pub crawl.
Her nominated wholesaler, Jean Simcox of MGK Foodservice, also received a choice of a £60 spa day or £60 HMV gift voucher as a prize.
For the past five years, Webster and her team have been catering for more than 1,200 pupils at the school, and Pritchitts' Viva milk has been a regular fixture on menus in a bid to encourage pupils to drink more milk and now to give them a chance to win an iPod Shuffle every day during term time as part of the company's Viva Daily Win promotion.
This year the competition has returned with Pritchitts giving away an iPad 2 every month in 2012. At the end of the year a top of the range 13" 256GB MacBook Air will be given away as a special grand prize.
To take part, caterers need to visit www.pritchitts.com/magicnumber to enter their details and unique on pack codes to go into the free prize draws to win.
