Abstract
The final keynote address at this year’s Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA) Conference will be delivered by politician-turned-broadcaster, Michael Portillo.

The former defence minister and chief secretary to the treasury will look back on his own political career as a Tory MP and discuss the ‘problems with politicians’.

Portillo (left) will appear at the conference on Thursday 16 November when other speakers will include CESA chairman, Glenn Roberts, and restaurant services director at Just Eat, Robin Clark.

The conference runs over three days, beginning on Wednesday 15 November with golf, go karting and a networking dinner, and finishing on the morning of Friday 17 November with a bonus session for delegates.

The CESA Conference 2017 is being held at De Vere Wokefield Estate Hotel, in Berkshire.

Over 200 experts from the foodservice and hospitality sector are expected to be in attendance, including manufacturers, consultants and operators.
