Merrychef appoints aftersales director to improve customer service

Merrychef has announced the appointment of Neil Tiley as aftersales director to put customers firmly ‘at the heart of its business’.

This role will see Neil taking responsibility for Merrychef’s aftersales support on a global basis as well as working directly with the engineering and operations teams who are UK based.

Colin Lacey, vice president and managing director of Merrychef, said: “The experience that Neil will bring to our aftersales service is extraordinary and we have already started to integrate his learnings into our business model.

“His mission is clear, we want our customers to have the absolute best-in-class support over the lifetime of their Merrychef equipment, and Neil’s knowledge and capability in this field will allow our company to further elevate the customer service experience.”

Neil, who brings over 20 years of experience in global service roles, added: “I’m absolutely thrilled to join the team at Merrychef, my first few weeks have been spent learning about the business and how we operate as well as meeting everyone across the different departments.

“I’ve had the most amazing welcome from everybody in the company and across the wider Welbilt group too, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to advance our customer service experience further.”
