With a plant-based café/bar and community ‘hub' on two floors, the Other Space Arts (OSA) is a place where emerging artists can connect with audiences.
The dishwasher will wash up to 40 racks per hour and is an ideal machine for the mixed loads that the bar generates including beer and wine glasses, crockery, serving bowls and cutlery.
Eleanor Chownsmith, co-founder of Other Space Arts, said: “There’s such a vibrant and creative community here, so we hope OSA can be a home for them, as well as a regular stop on UK-wide artists’ tours. Thank you, Meiko UK, for the dishwasher donation. It has been busy already because Other Space Arts is off to a flying start.”
Booking is advised for the special menus at the plant-based café, which features a rolling programme of guest chefs and cooks including plant-based chef Chris Nelson and Indian food specialists The Chapati Club. There is also a range of food at lunchtime, including soups, sandwiches, tacos and more.
In terms of visitors, OSA welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds. It is a space for groups to hang out, make friends, watch live music, and discover their new favourite bands. It is also child and dog-friendly, so it is great for families too.
