Abstract
Medirest, one of the UK's leading catering and support services provider in the healthcare market, has been awarded a three year contract worth £1.9 million per annum, to provide catering and support services at South Bristol NHS Community Hospital.
Medirest has been working with the Trust to deliver catering solutions for patients, visitors and staff alongside a range of first class support services including: cleaning, logistics, security, linen and laundry, waste management and mail room services.
Fresh, nutritious, steam cooked meals will now be on the menu for patients at South Bristol NHS Community Hospital with the introduction of Steamplicity, Medirest's unique patient dining offer.
For visitors and hospital staff a DeliMarché café will be introduced, serving great Costa Coffee as well as a range of sandwiches, paninis, salads, jacket potatoes and pastries.
