Abstract
Manufacturer of frozen potatoes McCain has announced they have pledged £1m to Family Fund, an organisation that helps families in need who are raising disabled and seriously ill children.

McCain believe that every family should be able to enjoy mealtimes together, but for some families this isn’t always possible.

That’s why McCain has committed to donate £1m to Family Fund by 2023 to help them reach their goal of providing 150,000 grants and services to UK families. Last year Family Fund provided 92,585 grants or services to families across the UK.

Cheryl Ward, chief executive of Family Fund, said: “At Family Fund, we work hard to support thousands of families raising disabled or seriously ill children in the UK today and we are thrilled to be able to do this in partnership with all of the colleagues at McCain.

“Our partnership brings together a shared passion to support and nurture the precious time that families share, and comes at a time when most are in greater need than ever.”

Family Fund created a video to showcase the work they do: https://vimeo.com/508776566/34e2eb2e30.
