Abstract
Charity Mary’s Meals has launched a campaign to raise money for children in some of the world’s poorest communities.
This year the average cost of a Christmas dinner could cost as much as £20 per person.
The charity is asking people to set a place at the Mary’s Meals virtual table for £15.90. The money raised will be used to help feed children at a place of education around the world.
Public donations made to Mary’s Meals (until 31 January 2021) will be doubled by the UK Government, up to the value of £2m, to help fight hunger in Liberia with ‘life-changing’ school meals.
So far the campaign has raised enough money to feed 1,708 children. If you are interested in donating, visit here.
