Magic Breakfast says general election provides opportunity to end morning hunger

Magic Breakfast is asking the next Government to end child morning hunger for good by expanding free school breakfasts. The charity believes that hungry children can’t concentrate and learn.

A spokesperson for Magic Breakfast said: “With the general election only a month away, we are asking all party leaders to commit to ending child morning hunger as a barrier to learning by expanding free school breakfasts.

“The magic behind breakfast is so much bigger than the meal itself… it’s the chance for every child and young person to feel included, equal and set up for success. We believe that every child deserves access to a healthy, filling breakfast. Join us in calling on all the party leaders to end child morning hunger for good.”
