Lunch! show set for ‘record-breaking edition’
Abstract
The ‘record-breaking’ Lunch! show 2019 will showcase more new products, exhibitors and speakers than ever before to 7,000 attendees on 19-20 September at ExCeL London.

‘New innovations’ across the café, coffee shop and food-to-go sectors will be explored at the contemporary food-to-go show. The food-to-go market is predicted to be worth £23bn by 2022 according to the MCA and HIM UK Food To Go Market Report 2019.

There are expected to be over 400 exhibiting companies with 100 of these expected to enter this year’s Lunch! Innovation Challenge awards, which recognise the best food-to-go products. In 2018 gold awards were given to Flower & White, Generationjuice, Kaleido, Pocket Enterprises and Sandows.

There will be 70 new exhibitors to the 2019 Lunch! show including Red Bull, Naylor Farms, Just Live a Little and Plant Pops. Its annual visitors include contract caterers SSP Group, Compass Group and Sodexo.

Lunch! offers the opportunity to hear ‘expert’ insight into business strategies from some of the biggest names in the business. There are over 30 free sessions including keynote speakers, interviews and research updates. The sessions will be spread across the three show theatres with the addition of the new Coffee Shop Keynote Theatre.

The keynote speaker line-up already includes Josh Brown head of coffee & commercial development at Harris & Hoole, Ollie Rosevear head of environment at Costa Coffee and Said Takhamt chief executive of Cojean.
