Lunch! prepares for 2018 trade show

The annual food-to-go trade show, lunch!, is preparing to take over London ExCeL from 20-21 September, with a ‘record number’ of brand new launches.

From sushi rolls and jackfruit chips to flavoured cold and vegan desserts, 370 confirmed exhibitors will showcase the latest trends, innovations and insights across the industry.

 

This year’s highlights are set to include:

 

Protein Ball Co – introducing its oat breakfast balls to lunch, which are high in fibre with added protein. As well as being gluten free, completely natural, vegan and with no added sugar, they come in three flavours: apple and blueberry; hazelnut and cacao; and strawberry and vanilla (stand E50).

 

 

KALEIDO – launching its salad rolls (salads that can be eaten like a sandwich). Made with fresh ingredients and wrapped in thin, gluten free transparent rice paper, the rolls are healthy like a salad, playful like a sushi and convenient like a sandwich (stand SU-12).

 

Crealine UK - introducing its new range of ‘Gazpacho to Go’ range, with flavours including: Gazpacho original; tomato and basil; and tomato and beetroot (stand M41).

 

PHIT - launching Protein High Indulgent Truffles in 13g packs. Vegan and gluten free, the truffles are a guilt free snack available in Seville orange and cocoa and morello cherry and cocoa (stand SU-7).

 

Ombar Chocolate - promoting its latest product in the vegan chocolate range, Centres Pistachio. A creamy, nutty-flavoured truffle centre wrapped in 60% dark chocolate. Made from the raw Ecuadorian cacao, its all-natural, ethically-sourced and refined sugar-free (stand A38).
