More than 200 people from the food to go industry were at the London Art House to cheer on the winners.
The evening kicked off with a buzzing drinks and canapé reception followed by the presentation of awards.
This year the judging was split into two groups. Judging the Best Coffee and Tea Experience categories as well as the Group Area Manager of the Year, Best Street Food Offering, Best Independent Outlet and Contract Catering Grab & Go, we had Martyn Herriott from the Beverage Standards Association, Gary McGann from Beyond the Bean, Cheryl Carrol from Caffe Culture and last year’s Special Achievement Award winner Paul Ettinger from Caffe Nero.
Judging the other six categories were Jonathan Doughty from Coverpoint Foodservice Consultancy, Andrew Green from the Craft Guild of Chefs, Hannah Crump from the Sustainable Restaurant Association, Peter Backman from Horizons and 2012’s Special Achievement Award winner, Vincent McKevitt from Tossed.
