Abstract
Airline caterer LSG Sky Chefs has been awarded three Quality and Safety Alliance In-flight Catering Program (QSAI) awards for its operations in Brussels, Santiago and Buenos Aires.

Allowing participating airlines to “monitor and improve in-flight food supplier compliance with internationally recognised standards,” QSAI winners are praised for delivering safe, quality in-flight food to passengers and crews alike.

This year, LSG Sky Chefs has won awards for its catering facilities in:

  • Brussels - Gold Medal for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
  • Santiago (Chile) - Silver Medal for the Americas
  • Buenos Aires (Argentina) - Bronze Medal for the Americas

It is the fourth QSAI award that LSG Buenos Aires has taken home in the past five years, and another win for Santiago.

Group chief operating officer, Jochen Müller, said: “It is my greatest pleasure to congratulate our teams for this outstanding achievement.

“To be selected from over 250 caterers worldwide is fantastic recognition of the great work that our colleagues in Brussels, Buenos Aires and Santiago are doing each and every day.

“It makes me very proud to once again have three LSG Sky Chefs facilities in this honorable list.”
