Abstract
Love British Food has enlisted the help of the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC) in its quest to promote British food to consumers.

Calling on young farmers across the country to get involved in this year’s British Food Fortnight (22 September – 7 October), suggestions range from posting a tweet to displaying a #BritishFoodisGreat banner at farm gates and visiting a local school to give a talk.

Alexia Robinson, founder of Love British Food, sad: “Collaborating with NFYFC makes so much sense.

“We are so lucky as an industry to have the most incredible network of inspirational young farmers, so many of whom are natural leaders with a strong voice in their communities and on social media, and who are the very best advocates for British food.”

NFYFC chairman James Hutchinson added: “The NFYFC is delighted to be working with Love British Food.

“British Food Fortnight is a great platform to remind consumers of the high standard of British farming, and to appreciate the great taste of home produced foods.

“Working together, our Young Farmers’ Clubs have a powerful and influential voice nationally and I urge members to do what they can to support this campaign.”

Young farmers can request a #BritishFoodisGreat sign and get further information via www.lovebritishfood.co.uk.
