Abstract
Biscuit company Lotus Bakeries has appointed a new key account manager for the out-of-home, in attempt to “strengthen and establish” itself in the market.

In his new role, Max Kenyon will be responsible for maintaining and servicing existing client relationships, as well as driving sales growth in wholesale and end-user channels, focusing particularly on hotels, on-board catering, travel, leisure and the cost sector.

He joins from CGA and has also formerly worked at The Authentic Food Company, where he specialised in the out-of-home sector.

Frances Booth, UK category marketing manager at Lotus Bakeries, commented: “We’re thrilled to have Max join our UK team as a key account manager for the out-of-home (OOH) division. It’s great to have him on board, as he brings with him excellent industry knowledge and a strong background in the out-of-home market.

“As a key account manager, Max will bring further support to our OOH team, where the business is delivering excellent growth.

“This new appointment highlights the increased investment Lotus Bakeries is putting into one of its key focus areas in the UK and working alongside our other OOH key account managers, Max will look to continue to grow our brand presence in hotels, leisure and cost sector outlets.

“We are delighted to welcome Max to the team and we’d like to wish him every success with us here at Lotus Bakeries.”
