
Lindsay is poverty and inequality commissioner in Scotland and a former independent government policy adviser specialising in food and public health.
Her interest areas still include food insecurity, child hunger, children’s learning environments, health inequalities, school nutrition and health improvement programmes, children and families affected by disability, food aid projects, extended schools, breakfast and holiday provision programmes.
She chaired the Holiday Hunger Task Force on the All-Party Parliamentary Group on School Food, which aims to tackle the issue of school holiday food insecurity. Lindsay is very active on social media to network, share best practice and campaign for all her areas of interest.
