Lime Venue Portfolio appoints new head of sales

Jo Austin brings with her 13 years of sales experience. Prior to joining Lime Venue Portfolio she was group sales director at Principal Hayley Hotels and Conference Venues. Her other roles have included director of national sales at QHotels and regional sales director at Le Meridien Hotels. Austin will be responsible for increasing the revenues and enquiries to the collection of sports stadiums, racecourses, historic and iconic buildings. Austin said: "I am delighted to take on this new challenge, especially as it comes at a very exciting time when the UK's event industry is preparing itself for a crucial decade under the global spotlight. With the expected upsurge in business I am keen on advancing our sales strategy to accommodate the changing market.
