Compass has delivered fine dining, restaurant and bar service to Henley Festival since 1994 and this new deal - worth an estimated £4 million -will see Levy Restaurants UK provide hospitality, food and beverages across four restaurants and six bars at Henley Festival from this year.
For this year’s Festival (which runs from 9-13 July), Levy Restaurants UK has pushed the boat out with its fine dining offers to, once again, include the Roux at the Riverside Restaurant, where it will work in collaboration with Albert and Michel Roux Jr to provide the menu’s design and delivery.
It will also be providing hospitality, food and beverages at: The Terrace Restaurant, a five-tiered grandstand directly overlooking the river; Jerry Boham’s Restaurant, an open plan restaurant featuring a theatre kitchen and an extensive bistro menu; Harpers Bar Brasserie, which will offer a steak and lobster menu; and six bars – including the BMW hospitality area on a floating, two-tier structure.
Speaking of the new contract, Colin Bailey, managing director at Levy Restaurants UK, said: “We’re delighted to have extended our partnership with the Henley Festival and excited to continue providing top-quality food and services, fit for one of the biggest and best-loved art festivals in the UK.”
Gill Mitchell, CEO of the Henley Festival Trust commented: “We’re really pleased to continue our partnership with Levy Restaurants UK and very much looking forward to the next five years. The new and improved offers are going to be fantastic and fit perfectly with the atmosphere of the festival and the visitor experience we always strive to deliver.”
