Abstract
Jonathan Davies has been appointed sales director for Levy Restaurants UK, the sport, leisure and hospitality business of Compass. He joins from Centerplate (formerly Lindley) where he was commercial director responsible for new business, client retention, marketing and communications.

Colin Bailey, managing director of Levy Restaurants UK, said the business had had an extremely successful year and the appointment of Davies would ensure the business maintained and built on this momentum.

“Jonathan will oversee new business development and maximise new business opportunities in the sport, leisure and hospitality market.

“He brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise to Levy Restaurants and we’re thrilled he is able to join us at such an exciting time.

“As leaders in our field, we work with a portfolio of high-profile sporting, leisure and heritage venues and he will play a crucial role in building on these relationships as we focus on continuing to grow and develop the business.”

Davies added: “'Levy Restaurants UK is a fantastic business with some really strong client partnerships and I’m very excited to become part of this people-centric company.

“I have been watching the company grow as it asserts its market leadership and I’m delighted to lead the sales function at this pivotal moment.”

Before Centerplate (Lindley) Davies held senior roles with Elior UK, Couture and BaxterStorey and was the inaugural winner of the Foodservice Cateys’ Salesperson of the Year in 2013.
