Blades, a registered dietitian and nutritionist with a PhD in diet and diabetes, has worked for many years in the NHS and will be bringing with her a wealth of nutritional knowledge to the day.
She will be joining celebrated care chef Mark Ord, hospitality support manager at Sanctuary Care group, who will host the event which is held in partnership with Cost Sector Catering magazine.
Millac Gold, an alternative to dairy cream, can be used for cooking, pouring and whipping in sweet and savoury dishes. A limited number of spaces are still available for caterers to join what will be an inspiring day with recipes developed by Ord using the product for people at risk in the care sector.
Also available will be a host of practical advice and tips, as well as the chance to discuss the challenges of the sector with peers.
