Abstract
Equipment supplier Rational has announced the latest in its online broadcast series TrendTalk, which explores the latest insights, trends and movements of the foodservice industry.

Taking place on September 13 from 3pm to 5pm, the newest session will see Stephan Leuschner from Rational and a panel discuss how food cultures meet each other.

The discussion will be moderated by Progressive Content’s award-winning author and editor Michael Jones.

The speakers are:

Tim Vasilakis, founder & CEO of The Athenian. The Athenian has gone through various stages, from Street Food, to shipping containers, to bricks and mortar and more recently to delivery only kitchens. With 20-plus locations in the UK and eight locations across Spain, the unique success of The Athenian comes down to understanding the market, putting emphasis on the brand and story of the business, and being able to adapt through changing times. 

Jeff Kipp, culinary director of REEF Kitchens UK & Europe. He is a trained professional chef for the past 25 years and has been enamoured with the virtual restaurants and the democratisation of food. 

Rehan Uddin, director of Indi-Yang and the Asian Restaurant Owners Network (ARON), and a Rational ambassador. Rehan will join the TrendTalk as a culinary visionary and dynamic leader of the Pan Asian cuisine. His journey, rooted in a British Bengali, Pakistani, and Indian heritage, has enriched his palette with an unparalleled wealth of spice knowledge.
