At the event last night (July 7th) North Ayrshire Council took home two awards and LACA chair Peter McGrath honoured Gabrielle Higham with the LACA Chair’s Award.
McGrath said: "Gabrielle has challenged me, supported me, and listened to me which is a great trait for being a great leader. Waterfall Catering Group is a great company and Gabrielle has always been there for me. When you take on a role as significant as LACA chair, you have to have this support.”
The LACA chair also thanked Premier Foods' Mark Taylor for his encouragement and support, and LACA's National Vice Chair Sally Shadrack, stating that LACA is in good hands.
Over 600 guests enjoyed a three course meal inspired by Yorkshire and its School Chef of the Year 2016, Kath Breckon. The evening, hosted by Dr. David Bull, raised over £7,000 for McGrath’s chosen charities, Roundabout Homeless Charity and Harvest Gardens.
