Abstract
Jockey Club Catering has completed a clean drinking water project that will provide clean water to a community of over 1,000 people in Pagidala, Andhra Pradesh, India.
The project has been achieved through Jockey Club’s partnership with ethical bottled water company, Life Water, and associate charity drop4drop.
Nick Campbell, managing director for Jockey Club Catering, said: “We are thrilled to have completed our second project with Life Water and drop4drop. Relieving communities of time and work spent in the collection of water will allow children to spend more of their time in education therefore contributing to the rising levels of literacy.”
Jockey Club Catering is a joint venture between The Jockey Club, a commercial group in British racing, and Compass Group UK & Ireland that provides catering at all 15 Jockey Club racecourses.
