Abstract
Pride Catering Partnership, the Guildford-based specialist caterer, has announced a major restructuring of its senior management team as a result of the company’s 73% sales growth over the past three years.

Joan Gilbert, previously business development director, has been appointed managing director with responsibility for operations, business development and finance functions.

Janet Tulk has been promoted from operations manager to operations director of Pride’s Senior Living division following the work she has done since joining Pride three years ago in growing what has become a major part of caterer’s business portfolio.

Meanwhile Jim Estes has been promoted to support manager for the Senior Living division to work alongside her.

Over the last three years Pride has won more than £3m of new primary and secondary education contracts over the past year three years, predominantly as a result of referrals from other clients.

To support this business sector with new openings and service delivery Dianne Cook has been promoted to area business support & development manager.

The founders of Pride Catering will also move into new roles.  Roger Aldridge’s title becomes founder director & chief executive, while Tim Price becomes founder director & chairman.

The pair have pledged to remain heavily involved in the business and believe the management structure changes will enable them to focus on the strategic direction and leadership necessary for the company’s continued growth and success.

Tim Price said: “Pride has been in business for 15 years now and, particularly over the past three years we have experienced significant growth and developed into new markets such as Assisted and Supported Senior Living, where we’ve built an excellent reputation.

“We could see the market place for traditional healthcare was under pressure and were keen to be ahead of the curve as the sector evolved, which it has rapidly.

“In order to take the company to the next stage of its evolution and handle our projected new growth, it was imperative for us to invest in strengthening and expanding the senior management team now.  It is especially heartening that we could make so many promotions from within our team.”
