Wholesaler JJ Foodservice has unveiled a new range of environmentally friendly packaging to ‘make it easier for customers to find eco-friendly solutions.’
The brand new ‘natural, sustainable and renewable’ packaging lines include: compostable drink cups, straws and food waste liners; and compostable and biodegradable cutlery and packaging boxes.
Plans are in place to expand the collection in coming weeks, adding wooden cutlery, clear salad containers, paper soup containers, pots, plates and more.
Group general manager Terry Larkin commented: “JJ Foodservice wants to make it easier for all customers to choose environmentally friendly options when they shop with us.
“Our website receives more than 20,000 visitors a week so this is a great way to highlight the new eco-friendly options.”
