In another story of #PSCPositivity food and drink wholesaler JJ Foodservice is offering a fast track ‘Just for Heroes’ service for NHS workers, the police force and the fire brigade.
Starting with immediate effect, staff working in the emergency services will be served first when they visit a JJ Foodservice branch. Emergency workers need to show JJ Foodservice staff their ID when on-site and they will be served immediately.
Terry Larkin, group general manager of JJ Foodservice, said: “NHS staff and emergency services across the UK are working tirelessly to cope with and prepare for the demands of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. They are our heroes and we want to support them.”
For customers who are self-isolating due to Covid-19 there is now a ‘contactless delivery’ option.
