Abstract
National wholesaler JJ Foodservice has launched a new website to enhance its service for customers who order online.

A record 70% of JJ Foodservice customers now order online, which is an 11% increase on the previous year.

Mick Dudley, chief technology officer cited the new website as being one of the factors contributing. He said: “Moving customers online has helped us to improve efficiency and reduce costs, therefore enabling us to keep passing on great savings to caterers.”

The new website shopping baskets no longer ‘expire’ giving customers more time to create their order. New products are now clearly labelled and popular products in each category are tagged with a star.

The new website also features a new search option to enable customers to find special offers and to search by brand. Customers can search for sub-categories including vegan, MSC and sugar free.

Over the last 12 months alone cashless customers have doubled form 3,000 to 6,000. Visit the new website here
