The giving tree has been swamped with almost 100 gifts for children, which will be distributed by charity Kids Out. The annual giving tree campaign allows Kids Out to get gifts into the hands of children across the country that may otherwise receive fewer or no presents from Santa on Christmas morning.
Every year, staff are asked to nominate a charity for the business to support and following a company-wide poll, the winning charity is the focus of that year’s charity effort. More than £1,700 was raised to go towards the invaluable work and research undertaken by Breast Cancer Now.
Ben Dale, managing director of Jestic, said: “Whilst the traditional office secret Santa can be a bit of fun, the whole staff team felt that they wanted to continue using that time, effort, and money to go towards doing something for children who might not as much as others.
“Each year, we’ve seen the support for the campaign grow and to have as many presents under the tree as we did speaks volumes about the kindness of spirit and generosity of all our staff.
“Equally, we are so proud to have raised as much as we have from across the business for Breast Cancer Now – this was a charity chosen by the employees, and supported wholeheartedly by everyone at Jestic. We’re delighted to be able to play a small part in helping support the great work of both of these charities.”
