New Hospitality Action trustees
Abstract
Multi award winning chef, Jason Atherton, has been appointed as a new Trustee of Hospitality Action.

Atherton’s new role and his belief in the importance of giving back to the industry will have a real and direct impact.

Atherton has been a long-time supporter of Hospitality Action and in 2009 took part in a “Great British Menu” themed dinner alongside Tom Kitchin and Glynn Purnell. In 2013 Atherton held an exclusive preview of his new restaurant Social Eating House in aid of the charity which rose £29,000.

He said: “I am delighted to be a Trustee of Hospitality Action. I have been a long-time and dedicated supporter of the great work they do of which I am extremely passionate. I am looking forward to getting stuck in and working alongside my fellow Trustees to help even more people in need.”

Joining Atherton as a Trustee is Ringo Francis the CEO and founder of Zenith Hygiene Group, a UK independent manufacturer and supplier of cleaning and hygiene products.

Francis is hugely committed to the personal development of the team at Zenith and is looking forward to guiding the charity. Francis said: “I am a big believer in giving back and providing support and guidance. The work that Hospitality Action provides is admirable and I am pleased to join the board as a Trustee. I look forward to working with my fellow trustees and having the opportunity to support such a worthy cause.”

Penny Moore, chief executive of Hospitality Action, added: “We are thrilled to have Jason and Ringo as our two new Trustees. I am looking forward to working with them both and I am sure we have many exciting times ahead.”
