Abstract
Hospitality Action raised over £15,000 in the past seven days, following the success of its Lunch Box Day and Ollie Dabbous in the Zoo events.

Some great #sandwichselfies (including those attached) came out of Lunch Box Day on Friday 23rd September, raising awareness and money for the charity. The 26 companies that took part have raised over £2,000 to date, with the final total still to be tallied.

While on Tuesday 27th September 90 people, including some of industry’s top names, headed to ZSL London Zoo for a unique dinner with award-winning chef, Ollie Dabbous. After petting the lamas, guests enjoyed a glass of champagne overlooking the tiger territory before tucking into Ollie’s Michelin starred menu (see full menu attached). The event, enabled by Ampersand, part of CH&Co Group, raised over £13.5k for the charity through ticket sales, a raffle and charity auction.

Penny Moore, CEO of Hospitality Action, said: “We’re very grateful to everyone that got involved in our events and donated over the last week. It’s been fantastic to see so many people engaged with Hospitality Action and the funds raised will help us make a real difference to those in the industry that need it most.”
