Abstract
ISS Facility Services – Food and Hospitality has won the catering contract for the Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence (CEME) at its education and business park in Rainham, Essex.
ISS will provide catering services for its 600 students as well as for visitors. The site hosts a number of events throughout the year, including exhibitions, weddings, conferences and meetings with a training and conference centre for 200 people. The contract will also see the launch of a new Paddy and Scott's concept coffee bar within the campus. Paddy & Scott's is an independent, British-owned and operated coffee brand, based in Suffolk and CEME marks its first collaboration with ISS. Andy Chappell, managing director of ISS Facility Services Food and Hospitality, commented: "A world class education and skills centre requires a high quality and diverse catering solution, and this is what we offered CEME. "The brief was clear, CEME wanted something unique and original and in keeping with our personalisation proposition we presented a bespoke, high value concept that would cater for all tastes and provide interest all the time. We're delighted to be working in partnership with this important regeneration hub for London." CEME is part of a £400m regeneration programme in East London providing skills, creating jobs and businesses that are revitalising London's industrial heartland.
