Peter Ducker, chief executive of Institute of Hospitality, said: “Starting work can be a shock to the system and new entrants to our industry need as much encouragement and support as possible. Class of 2017 proved those graduating this year with targeted tools, knowledge and resources.
“By highlighting the huge variety of roles that exist within hospitality, we provide in-depth careers advice. Once in their new positions, they benefit enormously from having their own mentor, an independent and experienced professional who is taking an interest in their careers.”
The scheme will provide professional credentials to go with qualifications, CV preparation, global job opportunities on the Institute’s jobs board, e-resources and one to one support to prepare for interviews, networking events and access to the institute’s series of authoritative webinars.
The Class of 2017 graduate membership scheme is available to hospitality students who have completed a hospitality programme or will graduate in 2017.
