Abstract
The Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA) is hosting a go-kart fundraising event this autumn (13 September), in aid of industry charity Hospitality Action.

Co-run by CESA, CEDA and the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI), the event will take place at Daytona Milton Keynes and is open to the entire industry.

Following breakfast and a full briefing, practice laps will set the grid positions ready for the main event.

Ideal for team building or networking, the Foodservice Industry Race Day will then see drivers from each team line up for their stretch of the contest, taking it in turns to last the distance in the two-hour endurance event.

Prizes will be awarded for the fastest lap and best team performance with more to be announced on the day!

CESA chair Glenn Roberts commented: “We are looking forward to a fantastic day of competitive fun. It’s a great way to network and raise money for a good cause.

“Hospitality Action provides much needed assistance to members of the industry who fall on hard times. We are delighted to be able to help spread awareness of their great work and, hopefully, to contribute to their future efforts.”

Tickets for a team of four cost £750 and includes breakfast, lunch and equipment hire, and can be purchased here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf6kixc3E0OPFc0UpETbw1t5-9lE4xcOw33x5OnbNEEQxcVRw/viewform.
