Abstract
A new venue operations manager has been appointed at Seasoned Events at the Imperial War Museum in London.
Matthew Gillman will be responsible for managing all evening corporate events on behalf of Seasoned Events, which includes logistics, pre-event operations, accredited supplier management, security and all other services related to the running of functions at the prestigious venue.
Seasoned Events, part of the Crown Group, has also recently seen the return of two other former employees; Katherine King, who returned as event and sales executive, and Debbie Thomas, as client relationship executive.
Colin Sayers, managing director, Seasoned Events, said: "We are really pleased to be welcoming Matthew back to the team. We have invested a lot in our staff over the last year and are really reaping the rewards as our business is growing and developing at a really promising rate. This success has been testament to the brilliant new partnerships that we are forming with venues, agents and the rest of the industry."
Gillman added: "I'm delighted to be back amongst some good friends and colleagues. I spent eight very happy years at the company during my first stint so to be back at a time where business is going from strength to strength is really exciting. I am very fortunate to have been able to rejoin Seasoned Events to take on the role at one of London's most prestigious venues."
