Abstract
IFE, the international food and drink event, has announced it is hosting a glittering Gala Dinner in association with the Food & Drink Exports Association on Monday 18th March at the Guoman Tower Hotel, St. Katharine's Way, London.

The night will provide a networking opportunity and will feature guests such as MP David Heath, who will be the keynote speaker.

From IFE13 advisory board members, visitors and exhibitors, to buyers from leading retailers and international markets, hundreds of industry figures are expected to attend. The dinner will be themed ‘Best of British’ and will be a celebration of British food, so guests will be served an all-British menu.

Special guest MP David Heath, minister of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in DEFRA, will give a keynote speech offering his insights into the food and drink industry.

“The IFE Gala Dinner will give guests the opportunity to network, reflect on their day at IFE and discuss the hottest trends and topics emerging from the show. ” commented Christopher McCuin, Event Director, IFE. “We’re pleased to welcome MP David Heath as guest speaker and look forward to what promises to be a fantastic evening.”

The evening will be in support of charity GroceryAid.  Gillian Barker, director general at GroceryAid added: “We’re delighted to be selected as the partner charity for the first IFE Gala Dinner. We not only rely on events like these to fundraise, we also see it as a great opportunity to raise awareness for the charity throughout the industry.”

For those interested in attending the Gala Dinner, tickets can be booked including pre-dinner drinks, dinner and entertainment. For more information visit http://www.ife.co.uk/gala.

IFE13 has also announced a brand new Export Advice Centre, which will run throughout the show in association with export consultancy The Green Seed Group. The centre will give UK and international exhibitors and visitors top tips on growing profit margins through export markets.
