Abstract
Birmingham’s International Convention Centre (ICC) has made several new additions to its catering team to ensure its standards are maintained and improved on.

Claire Smith has been appointed as conference & banqueting manager, Ceri Davies, Stephen Penn and Harprit Singh Kainth as conference & banqueting supervisors, and Robert May as food & beverage manager for Amadeus at the ICC.

Amadeus runs the catering operation at the ICC and aims to bring restaurant quality food to a large scale event environment. The ICC is a conference and meeting venue in Birmingham.

Marin Davies, general manager for Amadeus at the ICC, said: “Strengthening our catering team will not only ensure that we deliver consistently high standards at the ICC and continue to push boundaries here, but it will also stand us in good stead for the opening of the new Vox Conference Centre at Resorts World Birmingham later this year – a new offering to the market that will be managed by the experienced team at the ICC.”

Amadeus is the NEC Group’s retail, conference & banqueting, and hospitality caterer. The ICC is part of the NEC Group and also operates the NEC and the Barclaycard Arena.
