Abstract
On Wednesday 22nd March hundreds of baristas and coffee lovers will be taking part in Project Waterfall’s new event The Big Water Walk, which aims to raise awareness for the communities that have to walk for hours every day to collect their water.

If people are based in London they can take part by joining the Big Water Day Walk along the Thames carrying as much weight as possible to help raise funds and change lives in coffee communities. Five, ten and 15km routes will be available so everyone can take part no matter their walking level.

If based outside of London, participants can sign up and design their own routes around their local area. Project Waterfall’s campaign is part of World Water Day, a celebration of water held annually on 22nd March to raise awareness of the water crisis.

Around 771, people around the world don’t have access to clean water. This year, Project Waterfall are calling on the public to join them in raising funds to make a life-changing impact on coffee farmers and their communities.
