With a distribution to over half a million foodservice contacts, the ezine will be the highest circulating publication ever in the UK catering and hospitality sectors. The interactive technology has been developed to present magazine style content in a digital format rather than simply digitising a paper product which has been the norm until this point in foodservice media.
The publication will be updated with new content and advertising over the next 4 months as the Hotelympia show approaches, and re-published on 3 occassions, it will also be developed into an app for the second issue at the end of February to best utilise mobile technologies.
"This is a really exciting development for both us and the Hotelympia team, the technology has to be the way that people will start to recieve their 'magazine' style content in the future, the sheer scale of the distribution opportunities and it's portability work for all parties, commented Andrew Archer Managing Director at Dewberry Redpoint. "Working with Toby and the Hotelympia team seemed the ideal time for us to introduce the new technology and its possibilities to as wide an audience as possible."
The second issue will be timed to launch with the app version at the end of February 2014 and the final version at the beginning of April, 3 weeks before the first day of Hotelympia that runs from April 28th to May 1st at ExCel London.
