BaxterStorey ‘revolutionises’ food offer at London Metropolitan University
Abstract
BaxterStorey has ‘revolutionised’ the food offer across Aldgate and Holloway campuses at London Metropolitan University to feed 13,500 hungry students with delicious dishes.

All four food outlets will see a transformation, alongside the Highbury Canteen which will reopen as a street food style market. Dishes on the new menu include tofu katsu curry with sticky rice and kimchi slaw, roasted vegetable gnocchi, and loaded Turkish chicken flatbreads with hummus, minted yoghurt and sweet chilli.

Wellness and nutrition gurus Andy Aston and Lizzie Hennig have teamed up with hospitality services manager Daniel Caleb to create up a campus wellness programme, working with this year’s dietetics students on a placement aimed to enhance the food offer to students.

Sarah Miller, managing director of BaxterStorey London, said: “We are delighted to be developing a partnership with London Metropolitan University. They have a long-standing culture of enhancing the student experience through sustainable initiatives, people development and a strong community focus – these values are all absolutely in tune with ours.”

Doors will open on Monday 11th September, just in time for the academic year.
